Age 84, a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL, since 1987 passed away Sun - day, May 16, 2004, at the Cross Key Manor in Lehigh Acres. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, May 21, 2004, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Christian Church at 140 Horseheads Blvd. in Elmira Heights. Memorial Service (Panihida) will be - gin at 7:30 p.m. with Father Jason Kappanadze as cel - ebrant. Funeral Service will be held there Saturday, May 22, 2004, at 9:30 a.m. with Father Jason Kappanadze as celebrant. Interment will follow to the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cemetery with full military honors.

William Obuhanych, 84, a resident of Lehigh Acres since 1987 passed away Sunday, May 16, 2004 at Cross Key Manor, Lehigh Acres. William was born November 19, 1919 in Elmira Heights, NY to the late Samuel and Katherine (Skira) Obuhanych. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. William earned his graduate and undergraduate degrees from Cornell University. He retired from the teaching profession from the Fane School District of New York after serving over 30 years as a teacher. William was preceded in death by his first wife Mary (Dmytryck) Obuhanych in 1978 and his brother John and sister Anna Myhalyk.
William is survived by his loving wife of 18 years: Helen Nestor Yacos Obuhanych; his children: Paula (Herbert) David, Australia; Daria (Stephen) Lebduska, Camillus, NY; Anna (Jerome) Conroy, Syracuse, NY; step-children: John (Susan) Yacos and Nadine Yacos, all of Kansas; eight grandchildren; two brothers: Harry (Helen) Obuhanych, Horsehead, NY; Frank Obuhanych and sister Helen Obuhanych, both of Elmira Heights, NY.
Friends will be received from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. TODAY at the Farley Funeral Home corner of Lee Boulevard and Williams Avenue, Lehigh Acres. (enter from Williams) The Panikhida Prayer Service will be at 4:00 p.m. with Fr. Leonid Palceski of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. Additional services and interment will be in Horsehead, NY.
