Services for Sylvia Rebman, 85, of Transit Road, a retired teacher, were held today in Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home. Burial was in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.

The former Sylvia Foote, a native of the Town of Somerset, died Thursday (July 7, 1994) in Newfane Health Facility.

A former Barker resident, she received an undergraduate degree from Brockport State College and a master's degree from Buffalo State Teachers College.

A member of the Western New York Teachers Association, she retired in 1971 from Newfane Central schools after a long teaching career. She was a member of West Somerset Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John.(shrwd)
