A Mass of Christian Burial for Douglas B. Hoolihan, who owned and operated Hoolihan Accounting Service for many years, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Charles Catholic Church, 5604 Lindbergh Ave., Niagara Falls.

Prayers will be said at 9 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.

Hoolihan, 67, of South Transit Road, died Saturday (March 30, 1996) in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Niagara Falls, graduated from LaSalle High School and earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Niagara University.

Hoolihan served in the Army during the Korean War.

In 1961, he began teaching business courses at Niagara-Wheatfield and Newfane Central high schools. After retiring in 1986, he operated his accounting business.

He was a member of the Tuscarora Yacht Club, New York State United Teachers and American Federation of Teachers.

Survivors include a dear friend, Mary Lou LaMorticella of Niagara Falls; a son, D. Timothy of Youngstown; a daughter, Karen of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Beemer of Portland, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
